The GLEEMAN FOUNDATION is a not for profit company and has been founded by a group of environmentally conscious individuals who have a common goal to uplift the lives of the lesser privileged across the world. The Foundation works to build partnerships, mobilise resources and advocate measures for environmental protection and progress of mankind.
The Charter of the Foundation includes working with Corporates, local NGOs and International Organisations in the areas of Education, Women Empowerment, Livelihood Generation, Environment Protection and Healthcare. The TEAM has a vast experience of over five decades and have made a significant contribution in the social sector in all states of India, parts of Africa and South East Asia.

ABOUT

Vision : To contribute towards creating a sustainable environment and raise the standards of living of people across the world through global strategic initiatives.

Mission : To create an eco-system by aligning multiple stake holders towards selected focus areas with a view to enhance environmental protection, reduce human suffering, spread education, empower women and uplift the living standards of people by equipping them with skills to earn sustained livelihoods.

Structure : The Board of Directors is assisted by the President, Executive Committee, Financial Committee, Procurement Committee, Project Management Group, Operations Team and the Research Wing in execution of the Charter. In addition we have the Patron Members, Honorary Members and Ordinary Members who act as facilitators and advisors to the Foundation. Each country where we have interests is represented by a Country Ambassador who is responsible for cooperation and tie ups with organisations in that particular country. In India, there is a State Coordinator for each state who is responsible for the activities of that particular state and is supported by District Champions for smooth operations.

BRINGING CHANGE

GLEEMAN FOUNDATION is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. In the background we have a dedicated team which is responsible for building partnerships and collaborations with various stakeholders and arranging for funds for various activities.

SKILLING & EMPLOYMENT

Skills and knowledge development are the driving forces behind the financial growth and community development of any country. Building Skills is essential to empower individuals and improve their social acceptance. This has to be complemented by suitable employment opportunities to meet the rising aspirations of youth.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

In order to ensure sustainable development of any society it is essential for the women to be treated at par with the men and they should have the equal opportunities, however due to various socio-economic factors prevalent in India there has been a wide spread oppression of the girl child and women at large. Women's empowerment plays a huge role in the development of any nation and we at GLEEMAN feel strongly that there is a dire need for an equal inclusion of women towards contribution in the growth of the country.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Due to the pressures of population explosion there has been an over consumption of precious resources and with huge technological advancements there has been a massive degradation of the biophysical environment. Enviromental protection has been made a fundamental duty of every citizen of India under Article 51-A (g) of the constitution which says "It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers, and wildlife and to have compassion for living creatures". We, through our team of experts would like to contribute towards protecting the natural environment by making efforts to conserve natural resources and the existing natural environment and where possible, to repair damage and reverse trends. positive impact.

IMPROVING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FARMERS

Agriculture in India is largely dependent on smallholder family farms.
Smallholder family farmers often have access to less than 2 acres of land and produce mainly for own consumption, supplemented by income from sale of minor quantities. These small farmers are also extremely vulnerable to natural disasters, and price and weather variability. The challenges of poor economic geography, costly marketing infrastructure, and lack of value-adding opportunities have reduced their competiveness in domestic markets. Through our network of various self help groups Pan India we have pledged to alleviate the conditions of the farmer community.
